What happens when Start-ups mistake frugal to be same as cheap?
Cost cutting is the first thing that comes to mind when you are an entrepreneur but to truly cut costs you have to think digital and Arjun Chaganty, CTO of pepper square shared how exactly in his presentation titled "Being Digitally Frugal".
Arjun discussed the essential factors of working wisely such as ease of use, stability and disaster recovery among other topics, which were ‘very useful for startups and entrepreneurs’.
"The Startup Saturday event at your place went really well. I'm very grateful for your support and great hospitality.
The arrangements you made for the event reflected "the Energy" pepper square radiates. There were so many things pepper square did for making sure that the event was good including but not limited to arranging for chairs, projector, snacks, and conference hall.
More importantly, I'm thankful for the time and efforts you and your people made to make sure that everything worked well.
I wish a bright future for pepper square, which it rightly deserves.

What happens when young creative minds meet with a dynamic creative CEO in a beautiful setting on the banks of river Brahmaputra?
When young blood meets experience, it can spark a high voltage of creative ventures. An unceasing current of ideas flowed on a wide range of topics; from brilliant algorithms on a semantic web, growing organic vegetables innovatively to savvy mobile apps, there was no stopping the tide of ventures.
As the wave of ideas was tossed about, the captains of entrepreneurs steered their ventures with sage advice on finance, people, and the will to go on, despite the rough weather they were likely to encounter.
About 250 students gathered at the IIT Guwahati campus on a beautiful spring weekend and by the end of the event, everybody agreed on one thing: It was time to revisit their ideas and rethink their approach.
"I really enjoyed the 2 day summit. Had a good time interacting with Muki, Founder & CEO of pepper square. Listening to all those speakers compelled me to re-think about my career path once again."

An exciting outcome of the event was that pepper square teamed up with IITG to set up a design lab on user interface, and 3 students were offered internship at pepper square.
